Warren’s heart skipped a beat the moment he laid eyes on her at a party. He mustered up the courage to introduce himself, only to find out that Siena was his best friend Craig’s cousin. In a selfless act to protect their friendship, Warren decided not to make a move. However, as they continued their conversation, a beautiful friendship blossomed, bringing them closer each day. Warren knew deep down that Siena was the one for him, and after Siena made the first move, their love story became solidified.
Join me as we dive into the enchanting celebration of Warren and Siena’s love, a wedding that embodies the essence of elevated elegance. From the carefully curated details to the heartfelt expressions of gratitude, their wedding is a testament to the timeless beauty of their relationship.
Warren and Siena’s wedding vision can be summed up in two words: elevated and elegant. With a focus on minimal yet impactful decor, their aim was to create an atmosphere that prioritized guest experience above all else. Family holds a special place in their hearts, and expressing gratitude to those in attendance was of utmost importance to the couple. To achieve their timeless look, they chose shades of cream, white, and sand, with grounding green accents, while consciously avoiding any colors that might detract from the overall aesthetic. Inspired by style-icon Kate Middleton, the couple desired chic and sleek designs that exude sophistication. Note: We also want to highlight the bride’s stunning dress, particularly the exquisite bow detailing on the back. It perfectly complemented her timeless and elegant style.
Every detail of their wedding was thoughtfully curated to reflect their classic sensibilities. The semi-custom invitation suite sets the tone, incorporating specific fonts that carry throughout the event. To further personalize their placecards, they opted for a DIY approach. Using locally printed cardstock, vellum, and a white wax seal, each placecard becomes a unique expression of their style. These meticulous touches add an extra layer of sophistication to the overall design.
Pro-Tip: Plan DIY Projects in Advance for a Stress-Free Experience. To ensure a smooth and stress-free wedding planning process, it is essential to plan DIY projects well in advance. With a project like the placecards, it is advisable to have all the necessary materials prepped early on. Once the final guest count is determined, the coordinator can then organize the placecards by table. By completing DIY projects a month before the wedding, couples can avoid last-minute headaches and tears, allowing them to fully enjoy their special day.
The couple’s deep connection to their hometown of Houston led them to choose the University of Houston Chapel as the venue for their wedding ceremony. Nestled on the campus, this chapel boasts breathtaking architecture that perfectly embodied the classic charm they were seeking.
To create a truly unforgettable moment during the ceremony, we placed four stunning floral arrangements on acrylic podiums of varying heights. These carefully crafted arrangements not only added a touch of elegance but also served to frame Siena & Warren beautifully as they exchanged their vows. The symmetrical placement of the arrangements added a sense of balance and visual appeal, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the ceremony space.
Pro-Tip: Trust Your Team for Last-Minute Adjustments. Sometimes, despite careful planning, unexpected circumstances can arise. In this particular wedding, construction delays and early guest arrivals caused a scheduling conflict that affected the couple’s pre-ceremony bridal portraits. However, thanks to the couple’s trust in their wedding planning team, a solution was found. By adjusting the schedule and collaborating with the photographer, we were able to capture every “must-have” photo on the couple’s list. This serves as a reminder that trusting your team and staying flexible can lead to creative solutions, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable wedding experience.
For Siena, a stunning dance floor was an absolute must. And they certainly made an unforgettable impression with their dance floor installation. It became a true showstopper, captivating the guests’ attention and providing the perfect setting for special moments captured in photos and videos. With flowers adorning nearly every toast and dance picture, it was a dream come true for floral enthusiasts.
Pro-Tip: Mix Up Table Shapes and Centerpiece Styles. To add an extra layer of visual interest to their classic, white-on-white wedding vision, the couple opted to mix up table shapes and centerpiece styles. Round, square, and rectangular tables were seamlessly integrated into the reception layout, creating a dynamic and captivating design. By incorporating varied centerpiece styles and heights, the centerpieces drew guests eyes across and up in the room, keeping them visually interested throughout the space.
The wedding cake was a centerpiece of artistry and taste. A four-tiered design, delicately piped with floral motifs and branches in white-on-white, took center stage. To further enhance its grandeur, the cake was placed on two stacked mirrored bases, surrounded by lush floral arrangements and greenery. The result was a breathtaking display that added an extra touch of elegance to the reception ambiance.
Incorporating the couple’s vision of a classic ballroom affair, frosted acrylic signage was used for the seating chart and table numbers. This choice not only added a touch of modernity but also mirrored the vellum accents found in their invitations and place cards. It created a cohesive aesthetic throughout the event, showcasing their attention to detail.
As a wedding planner, I am incredibly grateful for couples like Warren and Siena who appreciate the importance of capturing special moments. It was an honor that they included an image of us together on their “must-have” list, standing alongside them as they marked the beginning of their journey as a married couple.
In the end, it’s the love stories like Warren and Siena’s that inspire us and remind us of the profound joy and beauty that weddings bring. We wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and shared moments that continue to warm their hearts.
